I am involved in the size-acceptance movement. I think this is important because I don't want to see future generations suffer needlessly from self-hatred. I want fat people to learn to love themselves and demand the respect they deserve.
I am involved in musical comedy theater. Have performed professionally, but hated life on the road, so now I only do it for fun.
I've grew up in Michigan, spent about 20 years in Los Angeles, and now live in San Jose, California.
I am happily married to a man who loves me just the way I am.
I am an avid reader. My favorite authors are: Andrew Vachss, Charlaine Harris, Christopher Moore, Tom Robbins, Terry Pratchett, James Lee Burke, Robert Heinlein, Frank Herbert, Maeve Binchey. I'm sure I'll think of more.
Big fan of Michael Moore, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Kevin Kline, Kevin Smith, Kinky Friedman, Andy Breckman, Tony Shaloub, Bette Midler, Manhattan Transfer, The Nylons, The Bobs.
Read quite a bit of Science Fiction and attend BayCon every year.
Play the French Horn. Would like to play the guitar. Would love to filk.
